Actually, it will be more like going back to live where I did when I was growing up (Hyde Park in Chicago) and after my wife and I were married (Evanston). Both are, for want of a better term, "college towns". With Hyde Park it's the University of Chicago, and Evanston has Northwestern.
The first thing my wife said after my daughter took her on a tour of the town was, "Geo, it reminds me of Evanston". I'd have to agree. My daughter has been emailing me real estate listing since.< bg >
When we moved here in 1981, it wasn't usual to see farm machinery driving down the streets. Now, it's pretty much suburban USA.
