Funny, that doesn't square with talk with you and others on many past occasions at conferences about your involvment in the creation and evolution of Dataclass.
Whenever a product is created, it's not uncommon for original developers and collaborators to step back and let a smaller group fly it through the marginal earnings phases.
That does not mean those who stepped back do not have a pecuniary interest.
I suspect that if Rod and JD were rolling in it, without cutting you in, you'd sue them for it. I know I might. You and them scoffing this does not mean you don't have a pecuniary *and* personal interest in Dataclass.
I'm more than happy to keep talking about this as long as you want. All I know is what I know from the three of you in the past.
I continue to maintain that those with an interest in the products they recommend should always say so. Not to do so is ethically reprehensible, proportionate to the number of acronyms one appends to one's sig.
So stuff it, bud. You don't fool me for a second. When you recommend a product, disclose your interests, because it's the right thing to do.
