The respones to my last question on this issue were not exactly overwhelming, but I'm a stubborn SOB, so I'll just try again.

I open a form in a project, open the Activate method, right click, toggle a breakpoint on a line with no conditions whatsoever, and where I'm certain it must come to.

The red breakpoint appears.

From the Tools menu I choose Breakpoints, and it's there and everything looks okay.

Tools->Debugger also shows the Clear all breakpoints as active.

If I run the form, the breakpoint is ignored.

Could this be some compilation issue, and could I in fact be running some other code?

Now I will reinstall VFP if I have to, but I'd really rather not, so any help is appreciated.
