I have been a Fox and FoxPro user since FoxBase+, and I have never been so disgusted with an upgrade! I read the articale in FPA about toolbar positions, and all I can say is, DON'T BE SO DAMN HELPFULL!!! I spend half my time rearanging the toolsbars in the IDE.

I don't know about other developers but suspect I am not abnormal. I have my own way of working, and the toolbars should stay where I put them, NOT where some genius at MSFT thinks they should dock to. I have fooled with the ReadOnly field of the Resource file, to no avail. They will stay put sometimes, during a session, then will move again, and will never hold between sessions. The horizontal positon is bad, but far worse is the vertical position. I have a lot of screen real estate and like to keep 2 rows of toolbars. This was fine in VFP6 and back, but NOT in VFP7.

Can the FoxPro Team do something about this nonsense???
