I am creating letters in a vfp system that my client mails to their clients. There are MANY variable length fields in these letters (some character, some numeric, some bold, some not, etc.) that are driving me crazy trying to make the reports look professional. While I don't have a specific question, any articles, web sites, ideas about this would be greatly appreciated. The biggest problem is the white space in a letter when a field has little data in it, but I have to leave the field wide enough to accomodate for the possibility of larger data in the field. It's been a long time since I've done letters using vfp's report writer, so naturally I feel like a moron!
