We use a digital camera to photograph non-conforming parts. I set up an area for the display on one of the many required ASP forms to meet the aspect ratio of the photograph.

Someone took a photograph of a long object and put it into paint and cropped it. It has an aspect ratio of about 20 to 1. It is very long and very thin. When displayed on the form it is squashed and looks short and chubby rather than long and lean. Anyone have any ideas how to retain the proper aspect ratio? If not I may just try to convince the users to not crop the photos.
