I agree with Craig. Create a Word template using bookmarks and/or form fields for the data you want printed. Combine that with VBA Macros for any clever stuff needed- eg conditional text depending on how much is owed for example. You can write small vba procs to receive and process comma-delimited files from your app, or you can do it directly from VFP using OLE Automation.
If you use a Word Template it also allows your customer to tinker with fonts/positioning etc etc if you are happy to allow that. And the customer can "save" letters or batches of letters for filing purposes.
