I couldn't find any pricing/custom configuration information there, so I went to Dell. What I consider a minimal laptop for development work is the Latitude C600, 14.1" display, WinXP Pro, 20 Gig drive, 256 MB RAM, CDROM, Network adapter. It came out to $2115. If you're just doing word processing, web surfing, etc, you can get away with less.
