>Im not sure if anyone can answer this but Im having a problem with my Win2000 server. Im running IIS and sql server off the same machine. Now the problem is that every once and a while the IIS server stops responding. I cant load any webpages or even load the iis console on the server itself. One thing I noticed is that when this happends there are 2 dllhost.exe 's running and one of them is taking up 99% of my processing power. So I have no clue whats going on. If I kill both dllhost.exe, they immediatly start up again but everything works fine for a while and then it happens again. I looked up what dllhost is but didnt get and solid answers (it has to do with creating com objects). If anyone has any advice, answers, etc... please let me know.

Sounds to me like you have a large process running and it is eating all your resources. I would say the DLLHOST is your IIS server running processes (ASP, Custom COM, etc).

You should not have these systems on the same server. SQL Server will attempt to use all available memory by default - you need to at least set this back. And if you can, separate them.
