>I wonder if anyone has tried to fire menu items or hot keys with a scanner? We made a bar code consisting of e.g. Ctrl + F, Alt + B using the CHR() function. The problem we encountered was when you are focused in a text box or another control. Instead of firing an interrupt (which works if you are focused on the toolbar) the literal characters are stuffed into the textbox control itself.

I'm curious...

How did you create the barcode? What characters are encoded in the bar code?

If you go to the DOS prompt (for example), and scan the barcode, what do you get on your screen?
