It is indeed modal. Just before replying here, I compiled it to both my hard drive and to the network. When I run the executable on the hard drive, my test wait windows come up inside a Fox window, and everything comes up; when I run it from the network, the windows pop up in the corner of my screen, no Fox window appears, and it dies again, as if it really were modeless.

I rebooted the computer also, just to see if the computer was acting up, but it didn't help. I can't seem to find a solution.
