Yep, we are. We turned off opportunistic locking and the Win98 machine is releasing the file locks properly now. I think the data changes that are happening are a result of the grid having a lookup table's description showing (not linked to the underlying table). The RI code for update of the lookup table is firing which it shouldn't. I am still trying to find a way to show a column not linked to the main table so the user can see the description to the code they are entering. (SEE thread 582336)
