Bob,

Glad to hear someone else is diving into UPS Online tools. I've been reading everything I could find on the subject, for the last couple months, which hasn't been much. Their couple hundred page pdf file is definitely not meant to be a training manual!

The "tools" give an example using Java, but I'm not interested in commiting valuable time to learning another language right now. VBScript and JavaScript look pretty easy to learn, but I'd much rather use VFP.

The question has popped up here and West-Wind on a few occasions but as far as I can tell, no one has it working with VFP. A few have said they're working on it but I haven't heard any success stories yet.

I am determined to have it working within a month or die trying. So, if you have any luck on your end, would you mind sharing? I'll do the same, if you're interested.

I've looked at the link that Leland Jackson pointed you to in his reply. It looks pretty easy, but, UPS is not listed. FedEx is, and this was the second project on my list after UPS, so I'm going to check it out.

At devcon, I saw Ken an crew show us all that in 15 minutes this type of application could be consumed using VFP7 ...But becuase it was all too new , and I wasnt being faced with the need for it, much of what was talked about ... how should I saw. was interesting, for the future.
