Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Looks like a bug to me.

I found that if custom toolbar(s) is/are not present, or not docked to the top, this does not occur, and the toolbars go back to previous positions. In your example, leaving the custom toolbars (i.e. your toolbar, superclass) undocked or docked to the side or bottom seems to make life good again.
