Interesting,
I have set up and used ghostscipt for windows. But never thought of using on a server like mentioned here.
set up the goscript printer on an NT server, which is the file server. using these basics. I like that idea too. I just didnt want to install goscript on evey machine in my office. thats a real headache... But setting it up once. and pointing to a printer in the network.. Nice idea.

>Seems like a lot of work...why not just install GhostScript on the Windows machines? Or have it run on a Windows machine isntead of fussing with SAMBA? Ghostscript runs great on Windows too...why force Linux into the equation? I could see this if Ghostscript only ran on Linux (and perhaps it is more functional there), but as far as I know, GS works OK in the Windows world...

In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
