>We were using a strings translation table set to use double byte characters. our latest string translation was done in excel 2000 and the Japanese strings show as Unicode Japanese characters in excel. However, when I retrieve them from excel into a binary character or binary memo field, I am not getting Unicode but a string of "??????????????? " type characters. I was able to extract the excel column into an Access table which seems to store the Unicode characters but even a remote view seems to lose the Unicode. What can I do to store Unicode in our tables?
