However, when I retrieve them from excel into a binary character or binary memo field, I am not getting Unicode but a string of "??????????????? " type characters. I was able to extract the excel column into an Access table which seems to store the Unicode characters but even a remote view seems to lose the Unicode. What can I do to store Unicode in our tables?
