I agree with you about the UT eye candy, Jerry, and am in sympathy with Craig and his poor phone lines. I live in a rural area with really terrible phone lines, even with a good 56K modem the best I can connect at is 26.4. The UT is taking longer and longer to load as more "features" are added.

Our phone company, Verizon, seems to have very little interest in providing any sort of broadband service to the area. I have looked at two-way satellite but the present costs are just too high, maybe they will drop in the future.

Take heart though, I manage my way through most of my internet surfing without unbearable frustration. I draw the line at downloads larger than about 4 megs |:>).
