I use the method above for a check writing form. As the user types it trys to match it to a known vendor. If its not in there it ads it to the list. You could always load your combobox from an array or cursor (etc) and if the user types in something else add it to your item list. Then if you wish you can reset your itemlist from your array (or whatever you used). Otherwise what I said is the only way to add it to a combobox.
