Hi,

I am getting an error message that says "cursor can't be updated". The thing I don't understand is that I havn't created any cursors in that particular program. Does foxpro (using vfp 7 by the way) create a cursor when you are working with a table? Also, where does the cursor get created? Is there a way to change that? I think what is happening is that its creating the cursor in a directory where a particular user does not have access to. (if i run the program logged under as me it works)

A side note here...does message(1) work for anybody? I have an error handler very similar to the help file, but it never displays the line of code where the error occured...

Thanks,
Chris
