>I am getting an error message that says "cursor can't be updated". The thing I don't understand is that I havn't created any cursors in that particular program. Does foxpro (using vfp 7 by the way) create a cursor when you are working with a table? Also, where does the cursor get created? Is there a way to change that? I think what is happening is that its creating the cursor in a directory where a particular user does not have access to. (if i run the program logged under as me it works)
Sometimes, it seems to me, you should translate this particular message as "Table can't be updated".
Just check for reasons why your
table can't be updated, such as disk full, insufficient privileges, R/O, etc.
