Bob-

Thanks for your help. This is working for me as of today.

You are correct. This is very straightforward - once you figure out what it means to "embed" in a VFP report form.

For others reading this thread - this is the recipe:

Put two text boxes on the form. I placed mine in the header and have not experimented with other placement. To test this - in one text box enter the following (including the quotes but insert your real values for mine):

"" and in the other enter "".

You can, of course, replace these text box entries with variable names.

Set the printer to the correct driver ( one that does not bring up the RightFax interface - unless that is the behavior you want) and do the standard report form command.

Serves one.

Enjoy.

Note: use normal phone number conventions - internal systems may only require a 4 digit extension as the number - outside lines may require a prefix, etc.

>>Bob,
>>I am writing a VFP app and need to fax through rightfax. I've read all the posts on this site about using rightfax and could still use a little help.
>>
>>You said that all you have to do is embed the faxto and faxnum in a VFP report and then print to the rightfax printer. Could you please tell me how to do this in a VFP report. Are they just labels on the report? As you can tell I'm fairly new to VFP.
