>Did we forget somewhere that we're still people, people??? Maybe I'm old fashioned but I don't want to be in touch every second of my life. I want to get away and be, you know by myself...

I'm totally with you there. I enjoy time alone, when I can't be contacted.

But also, I enjoy contact with real people. I've met interesting people through lack of information & communication - waiting at a bus stop for a late bus, I've talked to people, it starts from about the lateness & goes on to other things. I've shared recipes with butchers & fishmongers, because of lack of ingredients (I can even improvise, make up my own recipes) - get friendly with your butcher & they'll often tell you themselves whats the best value. I have a friend I met when my car broke down out of town (haven't got a mobile), he stopped to help (without prompting), gave me a lift & we've been friends since.

There's already an excess of information available in the media, on the internet, sometimes I think people forget that the easiest source of information is another person - it doesn't need technology, just the ability to communicate with other people.
