Hi!
100 users logged on simultaneously to UT site does not means 100 users try to get some messages from the site at the same time. Always remember that there is a very big difference between the usual desktop VFP application and WEB application.
Though, indeed, UT site performance is really good.
>My impression of the UT is that performance is great even when I've seen it over 100 users. Why go to a more complex setup if you don't have to?

able to have, just how many they
do have. You may be right though...

>>>Well, that is quite interesting, but I wonder about the 90 concurrent users when there are 6000 users registered on it. That means that 1.5% of the users can be on at once. Obviously, in most systems only a percentage of the users are on at once and it could be quite small, like 10 or 15 or 20 percent, but 1.5%? As much as I love VFP, it makes me wonder if they should move to some other back-end.

>>>>>>While looking at the list of World Wide Visual FoxPro applications, I notice a new one today. It has 1185 tables, have 6000 users using it and support up to 90 concurrent users. Well done!

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs
It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
