Thanks for the response. I think you are right. I found a white paper at MSDN (Article ID: Q248347 )"HOWTO: Prepare for and Perform a Clean Installation of Visual Studio 6.0". It enned up being Visual Studio. After I did the "clean install", which took me most of monday(major registry cleanup), everything is back to normal. I will look into SOAP a lot closer before I go there again.

Doesn't VFP 7.0 install the SOAP tools? I thought read somewhere that installing some application will install the SOAP tools or drivers.

Anyway, I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkk. The re-install even fix some other issues I was having.
