I am in a new position in a large corporate environment with several disparate systems. One of the main systems is a VFP system that holds a lot of base data that could be used by other systems.
I broached the subject, that was well received, that we could develop components that would allow us to expose the data from the main system.
Do you think that right now, today, I should look at building components in VFP7, or get up to speed on .Net.
