One of the guys from an insurance company extolled its cost effectiveness because development costs are less and support staff and not needed to mind the trenches checking what is going on with the local machines. Also they were high on the ease of training and app support because a help desk person can see exactly what the user is doing with the mouse or whatever by watching that session. There were some version considerations with the most recent (1.7 I think they said) being the most compatible with VFP. One of the guys who seemed to have the most experience told me in the hallway that abnormal shut downs can corrupt VFP tables so he employs sybase and informix back ends. That's about all I can remember. It wasn't a prepared presentation.
