Yes, it looks pretty stupid, but it works. It was found by many people two years ago when VFP just appeared, and it still helps in many crazy situations, so often that it became a rule on UT to remind... BTW, it's not the only 'crazy' line, e.g. Wait Window "" timeout 0.1 is also very helpful sometimes. These things actually force VFP to wake up and do what it's supposed to do.
