Ed;

Something I have experienced in life is we do not always take time to attempt to understand others. It is easier to take an observation or an experience between you and another person and pass judgement from one event. Such judgement may be that you dismiss that person from the face of the earth. They do not exist as you have put them into a box and that is that. This may occur for many reasons one being related to technology and perceived time constraints.

The approach I use (when possible) to receiving negative comments is to not listen or reply to them. I look for the positive. When someone sends me a negative post I attempt to disregard it and get on with my life. We all have different approaches to life and we apply those every day.

The Internet “SUCKS” when it comes to communication of feelings and intent. That is a reality and difficult to deal with. In my family I am known as the “Peace Keeper”. That is I keep all those Irish Catholics in line by diplomacy and reasoning. The Internet and Browser Experiences do not allow for such things.

The reality is that some people care how they treat others and others do not. A twit filter works for some and not responding works for others. To be honest I hate to see you guys engaged in this type of exchange. Too bad it happened but the world will continue.

>>In life you pay for what you get. Including advice on the Universal Thread and its feature set. I think what we really need is a "Nit Twit Filter". That would be a filter that automatically removes any content that the individual finds offensive while allowing communications to continue concerning the intent of the Universal Thread - to help express and solve technical problems concerning programming and computers. :)

>Nope; I'm happy just excluding the ones who fit the parameters of my twit filter entry requirements from my awareness.
