Nope... it doesn't pay $120 (not even $120 canadian). It's union scale.
We have thought about hiring a guru a few years back when we (a couple of FP 2.6 programmers) were trying to make sense of VFP - but in the end we just read a lot, attended user groups, bought Jim Booths tapes and learned from our own experience.
We have a very deep investment in FoxPro - all of our core business applications use it. We also do some interesting stuff in Fox supporting the driverless automated transit system that we operate.
The workload is fairly constant - but the stress level is relatively low, so we don't tend to burn out and staff turn over is low. The only reason we have a position available is because the system is expanding by 50% over the next couple of years.
