Hi Jean,

I also was thinking about this problem and posted question about it few times. However, nobody gave me a definite answer, probably because there is no answer at all. It might depend on what you're doing with the table (adding new fields, packing, indexing, etc.). It also not clear for me, where these temp files are located. They should locate under directory specified in config.fpw for tempfiles sortwork), but they sometimes locate at the same place, where dbf is located... Anyway, I would probably be safe with (tablesize+fptsize+cdxSize)*2 free space. It could be too much, but better, than underestimate...
