John, this is the same configuration I used until about 5 months ago. You don't mention what version of Novell you are using to host your files, is it 4.1 or greater? I never ran into these problems, but I know this much is correct: I would verify your rights on the Novell server and ensure that the drives are mapped via Novell scripting and not via network neighborhood on the pc. Also, do you have all Windows 2000 support packs and patches installed? You should also be using the Novell Client 4.81 for Windows 2k/Nt. Maybe someone else will see this thread and have some other ideas.
