I am in the process of setting up a web connected VFP application. I will be running a VFP fat client on each work station. I will be using a file server for the VFP data and a Win 2000 server for the comm objects. The file server(novell box) will be connected to the Win2000 via mapped drives (Unless theres a better way). This will be accessed by people from accross the US and eventually other countries. It is a closed app.(Meaning only the employees of the company will access it). I need a consultant who can tell me how to size the server and tweek it to make it as reliable as possible. And any other things I may need to know that I don't. (Which at this time is a lot.)
