I agree. However, I know that there are controls out there that work with VB but not with VFP. I don't profess to understand why, but I would guess that they are perhaps not following the programming guide presumably published by MicroSoft. I know that's why we have had problems with Windows programs in general in the past.

As I mentioned in my comments, ActiveX is language independent, so if it works in one language and is written to the spec, then it should work in environments that support it. I know that there are some folks who absolutely hate these controls, because of the problems have are sometimes associated with them. I'm not one of them. There's a tremendous upside to them, once the glitches get shaken out. I wish that Microsoft would issue some sort of seal, like they do with Windows, for these controls.
