In reading the Crystal Reports Developer's Guide they seem to advocate using RDC over OCX. I have a VFP application that currently uses OCX to run a Crystal Report from VFP, but I seem to be having OLE errors.

If I migrate from OCX to RDC using the same VFP application can I achieve the same functionality with fewer headaches? All I am trying to do is run a VFP form that allows the user to choose a Crystal Reports report name and a report date range, that in turns runs a Crystal Report that has already been designed and works stand-alone or with the VFP report interface form.

What do you think? As I understand it, the RDC is more than I need, but can I just use minimal RDC functionality to do this simple task without a bunch of OLE errors? Thanks for the advice.
