You'll need to recreate all the calls. The RDC and the OCX have different methods and properties. The RDC has more functionality than the OCX. In addtion, the OCX is no longer being updated by Crystal Decisions. Only the RDC will get new development efforts.

>In reading the Crystal Reports Developer's Guide they seem to advocate using RDC over OCX. I have a VFP application that currently uses OCX to run a Crystal Report from VFP, but I seem to be having OLE errors.

All I am trying to do is run a VFP form that allows the user to choose a Crystal Reports report name and a report date range, that in turns runs a Crystal Report that has already been designed and works stand-alone or with the VFP report interface form.

>What do you think? As I understand it, the RDC is more than I need, but can I just use minimal RDC functionality to do this simple task without a bunch of OLE errors? Thanks for the advice.
