Expanding that idea, one of the most common reasons a user will hit the reset button is that they think the app is hung up because they are not getting any feedback from teh system about what is going on. Sometimes we programmers are so concerned with speed that we don't write updates to the screen to tell the user that the system is working, and the user hits reset thinking the system is locked up.
