I don't understand, what don't you agree with? That VFP can deal with a single file with 2 billion records is not a figure I plucked from thin air <s>. It is what what the documentation for the product states.
As I said, that has nothing to do with whether you can actually create a file with 2 Billion records in it! It merely says that VFP will not break because it cannot deal with the number of physical records - unless that number exceeds 2 Billion!
Do you know something different then? (Since you are disagreeing) Please share your knowledge...
