It seems that the instructions you've given aren't completely satisfactory, either, since Frank is working on a work-around to that problem.

The reason for the workaround is that turning off the ON ERROR works when the app is run, not when the form is run from the development environment. I'd like to reun the form without repeatedly building the app in order to test a form.

I go in and out of VPM repeatedly doing queries to check on program results and remembering to do ON ERROR every time I come back in not what I'm looking for.

Like I said, I like VPM and it's been very profitable for me, but this has really been a sticking point that I'm trying to get past.
