Well what are they waiting for? FWIW, we were working a huge app over a year ago that was started using VFP 6. When 7 was available, we just continued development in VFP 7. Nothing broke and we gained lots in the way developer productivity.

So what are they waiting for? As far as I can see, there is no downside to upgrading now.
