Hi,
I am using VFP native database as my data source in my application at client's branches (1 PC only per branch). It work great!
However, my client very concern on the data security. I know that VFP 6 doesn't provide security features. I did consider on SQL Server Desktop edition as my alternative database, since it provide permission management.
But, I did able to FORCE SQL server Desktop Edition to reset the admin password to default. Then, it may not able to protect my data either. What should I do? Should I move to SQL server ot remain using VFP?
