Hello Paul

I have never had GPF problems with the report writer, it has always been very stable.

Perhaps you are using some features of VFP that are not in very common use (since VFP is such a big language there are many different ways to do each task)

I have found using the SET FIELDS command creates lots of problems, are you using it by any chance?

>I've just had a very unpleasant two hours trying to write a very very simple report that would have taken me ten minutes to do in Access. However I was treated to a veritable fireworks display of GPF's and blank screens (yes I even got a dead black screen..no message..just dead).
