>Alright...point taken. Can we move on???
Yup.
>As always, I have the absolute right to change my mind when circumstances >change.
I can go for that.
>I was your hero????? I appreciate the fact that you appreciated the work. Too bad a certain editor at FoxTalk did not have the same appreciation..< s >.. In any case, I have no desire to be Dr. Dot Net...< bg >...
I don't blame you.
>As for a vibrant healthy Fox - that may be your interpretation. As to how it >reflects in reality, in the world at large, I don't think your perception >carries...
Re-read John. I said "there is plenty of scope for a vibrant healthy Fox", I never said it is. This is surely part of Ken's mandate. A strong VFP with something different to offer is always going to find a niche. Maybe that's where the problem lies. VFP can not be the mainstream tool many would like it to be but, its a great niche player.
>even if it takes a crow bar, I will do so.
Steady on boy.
>I am sorry if my position puts a damper on your feel-good parade..
It hasn't. I've never been happier. I am more productive in VFP7 than ever before, I am learning C# - I might look at VB.Net too. I am delving deeper into HTML/XML - lots of good stuff. Just takes a lot of time.
>more people than not agree with what I have said.
Well, that's your take.
>No offense, but I am not going to back off for you or anybody else...
Don't be so aggresive ya'touchy old Fox.
>I know you put a < g > at the end - so I don't know if you are kidding.
Of course. There's always one, and your it <g>.
Love your new sig line. Miles better than all that JVP VFP MVP stuff. Besides, VFP MVP must be quite a weight to carry when you venture over to the dark side.
Best
