I've had clients ask for such things in the past. After I talk to them about the increased training costs, etc, they usually back down.

However, I would think that many businesses are looking for new apps that stand-out, or sometimes display their corporate branding, color schemes, etc. A project I'm currently working on has requests for a bit of a facelift.

We all know that skins and themes have been around for some time, and it almost looks like MS is changing gears a bit and embracing that even moreso with Windows XP. What do you do? Do you break from the MS standards and try something new, or do you hold to the guidelines?
