That's why I suggested a new Catagory specifically for Employment. Then it has a place and no one can complain that those messages shouldn't be there. Also, people who are annoyed can filter out that catagory.

I agree with the archives, that's a great place for job listings and also the problems with duplicate data. I think the point is that an employer would want to notify the community that a new job was posted. Maybe a way to subscribe to that archive area or something that post to the dashboard (which is a great addition btw).

C'mon Mike, it's your site, just tell the whines to go fly a kite <bg>. IAC, it would be nice if there was someway to be notified that a new position has been added.

As I said, talking about way to find jobs or about the tools to use for example, is to be discussed in the appropriate categories such as Chatter forum Chatter category. Basically, we just ask users to respect that and to use their best judgment when creating new content. One of our task is to verify if the content has been created in the more proper location. If it's not the case, we'll adjust.

That said, is it appropriate to post Employment related issues "I am availabe" in the chatter categories? And if not where can we post them?
