I however used it to build prototypes in a few hours where the estimated time for someone else used to work with another tool would have been weeks. Of course, that couldn't be mentioned at presentation time. But, it does represent very well a problem with some companies.
Sounds like here. I have given demos of West Wind, and Visual MaxFrame Professional. In one hour and 12 minutes I had a web page running that took 40 hours to code in Visual Interdev using ASP. I gave the demos from my own lap top as we cannot load VFP on company computers. It only created friction so I have given up the task of trying to suggest something and why. At home I do as I please so I cannot worry about such things.
