This is not only VFP, this is FoxPro forum, most of us well remember and still use FP 2.5, 2.6.
All 16-bit applications have some problems with PII>333 and OS Win 2000Pro, WinXP.

My experience show that old apps run with low speed on PII computers. That is the reason in my office to keep a old 486/33 and one P166 for support of my old apps.

My personal advice is If you like to change hardware to P4 computer, change software simultaneously . Last 2 years we convert to VFP&SQLServer over 10 old DOS apps
