Perhaps so, but I also got the impression that the hotfix was to be included in later SP. Since my version of Shell32.dll was later than that mentioned in the article, I assumed that Win2K SP2 had done the job.

BTW, as I recall, I mentioned another KB article which mentioned that you could prevent the window from opening by hold down Shift while simultaneously clicking the finish button on the drive mapping window. I couldn't get that to work either, but ctrl+shift did.
