Make a copy of the checkbox from the grid and drop it on the form and see if it'll work out there.

It is almost as if the textbox object that was original in the column (by default) before the checkbox went in there is still in control, but I deleted it and I don't see it so that does not compute. And it is no longer showing the properties Grid window, but the checkbox is, of course. I will keep thinking and digging. I appreciate your suggestion. I think that should have worked. Don't worry, I still have plenty of hair to pull out. This seems so simple, but yet so hard!
