The checkbox works fine when it is not in the grid column. It must be something with my grid. Records from my table appear in the grid correctly. I have CurrentControl for the column set to the name of my checkbox control. Have sparse set to false. I have the checkbox on transparent background. I have the checkbox caption on (None). I will be looking in the books and see what I might have missed?!?

Could it have anything to do with the form that the grid is on being Modal? I think I tried the form as Modeless with no change. Thanks again, you gave me some good ideas, but there is something strange going on here.
