Now that I am aware of the problem I do not use the pack flag with SDT's reindex. If the pack flag is not set then SDT's reindex does not discard the records beyond the corrupt reccount.
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
